    Posted by: my5kidsmom__OH ******I made this today and it is heavenly. The pudding mix imparts a wonderful flavor!! Perfect for a cold, rainy autumn day such as today!

    List of Ingredients




    4 c. cooking apples, peeled and sliced
    2/3 c. brown sugar
    1/2 c. flour
    1/2 c. quick-cooking oats
    1 small pkg. cook-n-serve butterscotch pudding mix (NOT INSTANT)
    1 t. cinnamon
    1/2 c. cold butter

    Recipe



    Place apples in Slow cooker. Combine remaining ingredients until resembles coarse crumbs. Sprinkle over apples. Cover and cook on low 5-6 hours. Serve warm over ice cream

    Someone else said of this recipe:
    "I've made this using anywhere from 4 to 8 cups of apples (all the other measurements remained the same) and it's delicious each time. I like "Ginger Gold" apples best. If you want to make it in the oven, bake at 350 for 30 mins."
