    List of Ingredients




    1 can (15 oz) solid-pack pumpkin
    1 can (12 oz) evaporated milk
    3 eggs
    1 cup sugar
    4 tsp pumpkin pie spice*
    1 pkg (18 1/4 oz) yellow cake mix
    3/4 cup butter or margarine, melted
    1 1/2 cups chopped walnuts
    Vanilla ice cream or whipped topping

    Recipe



    In a mixing bowl, combine the first 5 ingredients. Transfer to a greased 13x9x2-inch baking pan. Sprinkle with dry cake mix and drizzle with butter. Top with walnuts. Bake at 350° for 1 hour or until a knife inserted near the center comes out clean. Serve with ice cream or whipped cream.

    *Pumpkin pie spice substitute:
    to make 4 tsp:
    2 tsp cinnamon
    1 tsp nutmeg
    1/2 tsp ginger
    1/2 tsp cloves
