    List of Ingredients




    1 can (16 oz) whole-berry cranberry sauce
    1 can (21 oz) apple pie filling
    1 box (18.25 oz) yellow cake mix
    1/2 c (1 stick) butter, cut into small pieces*
    1/2 c chopped almonds, walnuts, or granola

    Recipe



    Preheat oven to 325°.

    Dump cranberry sauce into an ungreased 9x13” pan.
    Spread evenly.
    Pour pie filling into pan.
    Spread evenly over the cranberry sauce.
    Sift (or sprinkle**) dry cake mix on top.
    Cut up butter and dot top of cake.
    Sprinkle nuts or granola on top of cake.
    Bake 1 hour and 15 minutes.

    Cool at least 10 minutes before serving.

    Serve with Cool Whip or ice cream.

    *May melt the butter and pour over the cake mix.
    **Sprinkle by cutting small corner off bag you removed from cake mix box.
