    1 tablespoon dry milk
    1 tablespoon flour
    1 tablespoon cornstarch
    1 teaspoon salt
    1/2 teaspoon onion powder
    1/8 teaspoon pepper

    Combine all ingredients to make 1 package sauce mix. Seal and label.
    Can make multiple batches and store in a jar. Use 3 tablespoons mix
    for each recipe.

    Scalloped Potatoes (using sauce mix)

    3 cup sliced potatoes -- tightly packed, sliced
    1/8-inch thick
    1 cup hot water
    1/3 cup milk
    1 package sauce mix (3 tablespoons)
    1 1/2 tablespoons butter

    Place potato slices in a pot and add 1 cup hot water. Bring to a boil,
    cover, boil gently for 5 minutes, or until just tender. Pour cooking
    water from the potatoes into an ungreased casserole; pour the milk
    into the casserole; then blend in the sauce mix. Add the potatoes and
    dot with butter. Bake at 400 degrees F for about 25 minutes or until
    sauce thickens and potatoes are tender throughout.


    Quick Ham Casserole

    Before cooking potatoes, add 1 1/2 cups cooked, diced ham.
