List of Ingredients
8 ounce box of elbow macaroni
1 - 8 ounce pkg of Velvetta cheese
1 - 12 ounce pkg of shredded mozzarella cheese
1 cup sour cream
1 - 8 ounce pkg of cream cheese
1 - 12 ounce can of evaporated milk
4 Tbls. (1/2 stick) butter or margarine
Recipe
Cook and drain macaroni, place in oven proof casserole. Meanwhile, melt
Velvetta, sour cream and cream cheese in the butter.
Add milk and stir until smooth.
Add 1/3 of the mozzarella.
Pour over macaroni
Sprinkle remaining mozzarella over top.
Bake at 375 for 25 minutes or until bubbly.
Don't let it get brown on top because you loose the creamy texture and the
good stringy mozzarella. I cooked it in both a round deep casserole (1 1/2
qt) and a rectangular pan. Even tho it ran over the sides of the deep one,
I think it came out best that way....but a 2 qt would be better.
