    Crisco PIE CRUST FOR DOUBLE CRUST

    List of Ingredients




    Sift together
    2 cups +1 T flour
    3/4 tsp salt
    1/2 tsp baking powder

    cut in
    3/4 cups of cold Crisco
    blend until you have pea size pieces..

    Add 1 tablespoon of Ice water at a time. blending lightly after each addition. It will take 5 to 6 T of the ice water

    Handle the dough as little as possible. Divide dough and pat down gently and refrigerate for about 30 min.
    Taking one out at a time roll to 1 inch larger than your pie plate. Gently place in plate. Fill with filling and repeat process for second crust. Dampen edges of bottom crust and place top crust on. Trim and finish around plate as you like.

    Baking time and temp will depend upon your pies recipe.
