List of Ingredients
3 eggs
1/2 cup sugar
1 cup white Karo syrup
1 tsp. vanilla (mexican vanilla is best)
1/2 tsp. salt
1 cup pecans (I use pieces)
Recipe
Beat eggs, add sugar, Karo syrup, vanilla and salt. Mix well, and add pecans. Pour into unbaked shell, and bake for 50 minutes at 325º F.
NOTES: I usually throw in a little bit more pecans, so I probably use about 1 and 1/4 cups pecans. I also add a little bit more vanilla, because I think more vanilla makes it even better, so I use about 1 and 1/2 tsp. vanilla.
