List of Ingredients
44 Rolo candies, divided (I USED 3O FOR PIE)
3 eggs, lightly beaten
1 c light corn syrup
1/4 c sugar
3 tbsp butter or margarine, melted (I USED 2 TABLESPOONS)
1 tsp vanilla (I USED 2 TEASPOONS)
1 c chopped pecans
9" unbaked pastry shell
Whipped cream
Pecan halves
Recipe
Heat oven to 350º. Remove wrappers from 25 Rolo candies (I USED 30), cut each into quarters.
Combine eggs, corn syrup, sugar, butter and vanilla in large bowl; beat until well blended. Stir in candy peices and chopped pecans; pour into pastry shell.
Bake 40-45 minutes or until knife inserted halfway between center and edge of pie comes out clean. Cool completely on wire rack. Cover; refrigerate until serving time.
( I don't do this next step, just top with whipped topping) (DOROTHYR AGREES WITH BONNIEQ AND DIDN'T USE ROLOS FOR TOPPING.)
Remove wrappers from remaining 19 Rolo candies. Garnish top of pie with whipped cream, Rolo candies and pecan halves, if desired.
Serves 8-10.
