List of Ingredients
Focaccia Dough
(again in the bread maker)
1 c. water, 80 degrees
1/3c. olive oil
2 tsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
3 c. bread flour
1 1/2 tsp bread machine yeast
Asiago topping-
2/3-3/4 c. shredded asiago cheese
1 tsp. garlic powder (don't use garlic salt)
1 tsp. onion powder (not salt)
1 tsp. crushed basil, oregano and rosemary
1/4 c. olive oil
Recipe
Use dough setting and add ingredients in order. At the first beep, add 2 tsp. italian seasoning. When dough is finished, remove from pan and press dough into a lightly oiled jelly roll pan. Be sure to oil your hands, this dough is a bit sticky. Make dents in the rolled out dough with your fingertips; cover with a dish towel and let rise in a warm place for 30 minutes, or until almost doubled. Prepare topping, mixing in a bowl until moist, add more oil if necessary. Press fingers into holes again. With a pastry brush, spread mixture over top of focaccia, you may need to spread it out a lot, or you can add more topping ingredients to cover to your liking. I like a thicker topping. Bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes or until done
