Posted by: katemarie2_ia ********* here's my TNT recipe. The trick to making these delicous is to slice them very very thin. I use my meat slicer. My family gobbles these up.......... and they are so darn easy to make.
List of Ingredients
5-6 Russet potatoes, scrubbed abd sliced thin
1-2 Onions sliced thin
1 8 oz pkg shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1 8 oz pkg shredded velveeta cheese
1/2-3/4 cup milk
salt and pepper to taste
Recipe
Spray a 9 x 13 pan and put in 1/2 of the sliced potatoes
-Layer 1/2 of the sliced onions.
-Sprinkle with 1/2 of both cheeses.
-Salt and pepper to taste
-Repeat layers
-Pour milk over top of all
-Set oven to 300 and preheat.
-Bake, loosely covered with foil for 1 1/2 - 2 hrs.
-If you like the cheese to brown slighly, remove foil for last 15 minutes
**Final Comments
Adding cubed ham pieces makes this a main dish meal !!!!!!!!!
