    You could lay a piece of plastic wrap in the bottom of a pie plate, then add caramel topping. Pour the filling over caramel and refrigerate for several hours until set. Invert and remove plastic wrap.




    This is the filling I use for pudding. It sets up nice and firm after refrigeration.

    Filling:
    1 can sweetened condensed milk
    8 oz cream cheese, softened
    1/2 to 1 tsp vanilla or almond flavoring, to taste
    8 oz Cool Whip
    Combine milk, cheese and flavoring. Fold Cool Whip.

    I have not used this recipe, but I think it is pretty standard.

    Filling:
    8 oz sour cream
    8 oz cream cheese, softened
    1 cup sugar
    1 tsp vanilla
    8 oz Cool Whip
    Combine sour cream, cheese, sugar and vanilla. Fold in Cool Whip.
