    List of Ingredients




    1 cup uncooked rice
    2½ cups boiling water
    1½ teaspoons salt
    3 tablespoons butter, in bits

    Recipe



    Spread rice on jelly roll pan in even layer; bake at 450º for 15-20 minutes, until it is golden. Transfer to casserole, add water and salt; bake, covered, at 350º for 30 minutes. Stir in butter and transfer to heated serving dish. Serves 3.
    This makes a light, fluffy accompaniment.
