    1 c. cooked rice (cooled)
    2 c. miniature marshmallows
    1 can crushed pineapple, drained well
    1 jar maraschino cherries (cut in quarters)
    1 container Cool Whip (thawed)

    Recipe



    Mix rice, marshmallows, pineapple and cherries several hours before serving so flavors combine. Shortly before serving, fold in thawed Cool Whip. Garnish top of heavenly rice with maraschino cherry halves.


    HEAVENLY RICE

    1 very scant c. rice
    2 cans crushed pineapple (well drained)
    1 c. walnuts (cut up)
    1 pt. whipping cream

    Cook rice ahead of time according to directions. When real cold add pineapple and walnuts. Whip the cream. Add a little sugar and vanilla to taste. Mix together when nearly ready to use.
