    This recipe was taken from the Student Wives Fellowship of New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. We published this in 1989-1990 to raise money for our wives group. I have tried this quite a few times and always have rave reviews.

    List of Ingredients





    2 cups warm water
    1 pkg. dry yeast
    1/4 cup sugar
    1 egg, beaten
    4 cups self-rising flour
    1 1/2 sticks melted margarine

    Recipe



    Directions:
    Dissolve yeast in warm water. Stir in sugar, and then egg. Gradually stir in flour. Mix in melted margarine thoroughly. May use dough immediately or refrigerate in a covered bowl for up to 7 days.
    Bake in a preheated oven at 350 degrees. Spoon batter into greased mini-muffin tins. Bake 20 minutes or until golden brown. May be baked and frozen for later.
