    Posted by: MissEllie**********This is an old recipe that is really great for cole slaw. The cooked part stabilizes the dressing and the slaw doesn't get all watery and soupy:

    List of Ingredients




    1/2 c. sugar
    1 T. flour
    1/4 c. water
    1/4 c. white vinegar
    Miracle Whip

    Recipe



    Mix together the sugar, flour, water and vinegar in a small saucepan and bring to a boil. Let cool and mix with an equal amount of Miracle Whip. Pour over shredded cabbage and stir to mix well. Sometimes I stir in a few celery seed to this.
