4tbs. unsalted butter
3/4c. AP flour
1 1/4c. packed light brown sugar
3/4c. light corn syrup
3/4c. evaporated milk
1 1/4c. coarsely chopped pecans
Recipe
Melt butter in med. heavy saucepan over med. heat. Add flour, whisking to prevent lumps from forming. Add brown sugar and corn syrup and bring to a boil, stirring constanly. Reduce heat to med.-low and simmer about 5 min. Remove from heat and gradually stir in evaporated milk and pecans. Serve immediately
