List of Ingredients
1/4 stick margarine
1/4 cup all purpose flour
1 3/4 cup milk
salt and pepper
Recipe
chicken or beef boullion crystals to make flavored
melt margarine, stir in flour until creamy. Add milk. Stir constantly over med heat until it just starts to boil. Remove from heat. Add boullion if desired.
Then can be doubled, tripled, as needed.
I make my mac and cheese using this sauce. I add 8 oz velvetta cheese. Stir until cheese melts. Mix with 8 oz cooked elbow macaroni. Bake 30 minutes at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until brown on top.
