2 Tbsp. Olive Oil
1 large minced Garlic Clove
1/2 Onion, very finely chopped
1 tsp. Dried Basil
1 tsp. Dried Parsley
1/2 tsp. Ground Black Pepper
1/2 tsp. Dried Oregano
1 tsp. Salt
1 (28 oz.) can Crushed Tomatoes
1 (29 oz.) can Tomato Puree
4 Tbsp. Sugar
Recipe
1. Heat oil over medium low heat, and add garlic. Stir and cook until golden brown. Be careful not to burn the garlic. Add onion and cook until soft and golden stirring frequently.
2. Add seasonings and tomato products. Slowly bring to the boil at a medium high heat. Let boil for 10 Minutes, covered
3. Reduce to lowest heat, cover loosely, and simmer 1 Hour, stirring occasionally. This makes six cups.
