List of Ingredients
1 cup butter
2 cups packed brown sugar
½ cup light corn syrup
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
½ tsp. soda
6 quarts popped popcorn
Recipe
Combine butter, sugar, corn syrup, and salt in saucepan. Bring to boil and boil for 5 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat. Add vanilla and soda, mix well. Pour over popcorn and stir to coat. Bake at 250 for 45 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes. Pour onto counter and separate into pieces. Let cool.
Note: Nuts may be added to popcorn before coating if desired. An aluminum turkey roaster works well to bake the popcorn. Don’t use Blue Bonnet brand margarine in this.
I have also made this using granulated sugar in place of the brown sugar.
