Best Ever Potato Soup

List of Ingredients
6 bacon strips cook till crisp, crumble (I use the already cooked stuff and nuke it)
3 cups of cubed peeled potatoes
1 can (14 ½ ounces) chicken broth
1 small carrot grated or small diced
½ cup chopped onion
1 tablespoon dried parsley flakes
½ teaspoon each celery seed, salt and pepper
3 tablespoons flour (scant)
3 cups milk
8 ounces Velveeta cubed
2 green onions thinly sliced for garnish
Recipe
In a large saucepan, simmer together (covered) potatoes, broth, carrot, onion, parsley flakes and seasonings until potatoes are tender.
Combine flour and milk until smooth, add to soup. Bring to a boil and simmer for 2 minutes. Add cheese. Stir until cheese is melted.
Garnish with green onions, if desired. Makes 2 quarts.
If the soup is thicker than you like it, just add more milk.
