List of Ingredients
1 lb. lean ground beef or turkey
1 tsp. oil
2 cans condensed chicken broth
1-1/2 cups water
2 cups assorted cut-up vegetables (such as sliced carrots, celery, mushrooms, onion, broccoli florets, and/or chopped red or green bell pepper)
1 envelope GOOD SEASONS Italian Salad Dressing Mix
1/2 cup MINUTE White Rice, uncooked
2 Tbsp. chopped fresh parsley
fresh grated Parmesan, opt. for garnish
Recipe
Cook ground beef or turkey in hot oil in large saucepan until browned; drain well.
Add broth, water, vegetables and salad dressing mix. Bring to boil. Reduce heat to low; cover. Simmer 15 to 20 minutes, or until veggies are tender.
Stir in rice and parsley; cover. Let simmer 5 mins. Remove from heat. Let stand covered 5 more minutes.
Serve hot.
Garnish with Parmesan, if desired.
