    List of Ingredients




    3 pounds stew meat or roast cut into
    1 inch cubes
    1 large onion, chopped
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    3 tablespoons olive oil
    1 pound small white mushrooms, halved
    16 ounces tomato sauce
    1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
    salt and Pepper to taste
    1/2 cup red wine
    1 cup nonfat sour cream
    cooked rice or noodles

    Preheat oven to 300. Brown beef over medium high heat in skillet. Transfer to Dutch oven. In skillet cook onion for 5 minutes. Add garlic and mushrooms; cooking for 5 more minutes. Add to meat. Add tomato sauce, wine, Worcestershire sauce, S & P to taste. Bake for 2 hours. Add sour cream. Mix and serve over rice or noodles. Serves 6.
