PEAR CUSTARD PIE

- 9 inch unbaked pie shell
- 4-5 c. pears (peeled and sliced)
- 2 eggs
- 1 c. sugar
- 1/4 c. flour
- 1/4 c. butter (softened)
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 450 degrees
- Place peeled and sliced pears in pie shell.
- In a small bowl combine remaining ingredients.
- Beat together with electric mixer until light and fluffy. Pour mixture over fruit in pie shell.
- Bake in preheated oven for 10 minutes
- Reduce heat to 350 degrees and continue baking until set, about 30 minutes.
