    Chicken Cornbread Dressing

    List of Ingredients




    1 large onion, chopped
    1/2 cup chopped celery
    1/2 cup butter or margarine, melted
    1/2 pound bulk pork sausage
    4 cups cornbread crumbs
    1 cup corn flakes cereal
    4 slices white bread, torn
    10 3/4 ounces cream of chicken soup
    14 1/2 ounces chicken broth
    1 1/2 teaspoons rubbed sage
    1/4 teaspoon pepper
    dash of thyme
    paprika

    Recipe



    1. Sauté onion and celery in butter until tender. Set aside.

    2. Brown sausage in a heavy skillet; drain.

    3. Combine, onion mixture, sausage, and remaining ingredients, except paprika.

    4. Spoon mixture into a lightly greased 12 X 8 X 2 inch baking dish. Sprinkle with paprika.

    5. Bake at 350°F. for 30 minutes or until lightly browned.
