    Pepperoncini Beef

    List of Ingredients

    8 ounce pkg mushrooms - sliced
    1 small onion - chopped
    oil
    3-4 lb boneless chuck shoulder roast
    6 - 8 cloves of garlic - sliced lengthwise into thirds
    salt
    pepper
    onion powder
    16 ounce jar of sliced pepperoncinies (save the juice)
    4 hoagie rolls
    provolone or mozzarella cheese

    Recipe

    Slice mushrooms and chop onion, sauté in oil until tender; set aside.

    Cut small slits in the roast and insert a garlic sliver in each slit - enough to your liking.

    Season roast with salt, pepper and onion powder on both sides and place in crock pot. Add the cooked mushrooms and onions and add jar of pepperoncinies along with the juice over the top of the roast.

    Cook on high 10 to 11 hours or until falling apart.

    Slice thin or shred and return back to the juice

    Serve on hoagie rolls with cheese and your choice of condiments
