Swedish Apple Pie

List of Ingredients
- 2 cups parboiled apples, drained (Granny Smith is what I use)
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 3/4 cup sugar
- Pinch of salt
- 1 egg, slightly beaten
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 10-inch unbaked pie shell
- TOPPING:
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1/3 cup flour
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 2 tablespoons softened margarine
Instructions
- Mix drained parboiled apples, flour, sugar and salt. Beat eggs and vanilla and add to apple mixture. Fold in sour cream
- Pour into unbaked pie shell and bake at 375 degrees F. for 40 minutes. Remove from oven.
- Combine topping ingredients to make a crumbly mixture. Sprinkle over pie and return to oven. Bake an additional 15 minutes, or until topping is browned. Cool before serving.
