Cold outside - warm up with this wonderful soup.
Easy and delicious! Serve with buttered french bread
List of Ingredients
2 tubes breakfast sausage (Jimmy Dean is best - lowest in fat)
1 onion
2 cans chicken broth
5 potatoes
2 bay leaves
Balsimic vinegar
vanilla extract (do not use imitation)

Sausage Soup
2 tubes breakfast sausage (Jimmy Dean is best - lowest in fat)
*I usually purchase one HOT and one MILD
1 onion
Cook and drain fat:
Add:
2 cans chicken broth
5 potatoes (peeled and cubed)
2 bay leaves
1 pint heavy cream
Cook 10 minutes then Add:
1 1/2 tablespoons Balsimic vinegar (do not use any other type vinegar)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract (do not use imitation)
Serve immediately with crusty french bread and just wait for the rave reviews...everyone will want this recipe.
