Trey always called this his favorite chicken because in removing from oven to counter I somehow "dropped it" but it did not break,it slid across the floor like it had wheels. He was about six yrs old then and he said from then on that was his favorite chicken it had rollers under dish
List of Ingredients
3-3 1/2 lbs. cut up chicken
1/4 cup flour
1/4 cup margarine,melted
2/3 cup Carnation evaporated milk undiluted
1/4 lb mushrooms,sliced
1 can cream of mushroon soup,undiluted
1 cup grated cheese
3/4 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp . pepper
Recipe
wash and coat each piece of chicken with flour;place in annn oblong baking dish,skin sidesdown,which has the melted margarin in bottom.
Bake 30 mins, at 425 then turn pieces over and bake additional 15-20 mins.
* pour off excess fat,now mix the soup,Carnation milk,grated cheese,salt and pepper.
Spread evenly over the chicken and sprikle with paperika IF desired.
Reduce heat to 325,cover with foil and bake additional 15. mins.
