    This recipe was handed down to me from my mom. I hope you enjoy it as much as we do.


    List of Ingredients


    • 1 - 5 lb. Corned Beef
    • 8 Lg. Pared Potatoes, halved
    • 4 onions quartered
    • 1 head cabbage


    Instructions


    1. Place beef in large soup kettle; cover with water; simmer for about 2 1/2 hrs.
    2. Add potatoes & onions; cook 30 minutes longer.
    3. add cabbage; cook 30 minutes longer or until cabbage is soft.
    4. Serve cabbage and potatoes in dish; place onions on platter with beef.
