    List of Ingredients


    • 4 - 6 Cooking Apples
    • 3/4 Cup Sugar
    • 1 Tbsp. Flour
    • Pastry for single 9 inch crust
    • 3/4 Cup Flour, Sifted
    • 1/3 Cup Brown Sugar, Packed
    • 1/3 Cup Butter or Margarine
    • 1/3 Cup Walnuts, Chopped
    • dash of salt


    Instructions


    1. Pare, core and slice apples; mix with sugar, flour, salt, and cinnamon. Turn into pastry lined pan. Blend 3/4 cup flour, brown sugar and butter until crumbly; mix in walnuts. Sprinkle over apples in pan. Bake in very hot oven for 15 minutes at 450 degrees, then reduce heat to 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until apples are tender.
