    1 1/2 cups water
    4 Cups bread flour
    3 tablespoons dry milk
    2 tablespoons sugar
    1 3/4 teaspoons salt
    1 1/2 teaspoons Bread machine yeast
    Streusel; freeze at least 1 hour.

    Streusel
    3 tablespoons cold butter
    1/4 cup packed brown sugar
    2 tablespoons Bread flour
    2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
    1/3 cup chopped walnuts

    Measure carefully, placing all ingredients except Streusel in bread machine pan in the order recommended by the manufacturer. Select Sweet or Basic/White cycle. Use Medium or Light crust color. Do not use Delay cycle. Add frozen Streusel at the beep signal or 5 minutes before the last kneading cycle ends. Remove baked bread from pan:Cool on wire rack.


    Mix butter,brown sugar, flour and cinnamon in bowl until crumbly. Stir in nuts. Freeze in bowl at least 1 hour; do not remove from freezer until ready to use. (We recommend using butter for the Success of the streusel swirling)

    Yield: 2 pound loaf
