1/2 cup butter or margarine
3/4 cup sugar
1 egg
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1 1-ounce square unsweetened chocolate, melted and cooled
1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 cup finely chopped peanuts
Recipe
Cream butter and sugar till light. Beat in egg and vanilla. Blend in chocolate. Stir together flour and baking powder; blend into creamed mixture. Chill. Shape into 1-inch balls. Roll in peanuts. Place on ungreased baking sheet about 2 inches apart; flatten with bottom of glass. Bake at 350 for 10 minutes.
