1 pkg. (2 layer) lemon cake mix
1/3 c. shortening
1/3 c. butter or margarine; softened
1 egg
1 tub of lemon ready to spread frosting
Recipe
Heat oven to 375. Stir about half of cake mix (dry), the shortening, butter and egg in a medium bowl until well mixed. Stir in remaining cake mix.
Drop dough by rounded teaspoonfuls about 2 inches apart onto
ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until light brown around the edges. Cool 11 minutes. Remove from cookie sheet, cool completely. Frost with frosting.
