Quick and Nutty Jam Gems

List of Ingredients
1 roll (18 oz) refrigerated sugar cookie dough
3/4 c. finely chopped peanuts
1/3 c. strawberry or favorite flavor jam or preserves
Recipe
Heat oven to 350. Cut cookie dough into 24 slices; cut each slice in half crosswise. Shape dough into balls and roll in the peanuts. Place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheets.
Bake 12 to 14 minutes or until edges are golden brown. Immediately, with the back of measuring soup, make indentation in each baked cookie. Fill each indentation with heaping 1/4 tsp. jam. Remove from cookie sheets.
Makes 4 dozen cookies
