List of Ingredients
1 1/2 c. boiling water
1 pkg. (6 oz) cherry flavor gelatin
1 1/2 c. cold water
1 can (21 oz) cherry pie filling
3 c. cold milk
2 pkgs. (3 oz each) vanilla instant pudding (you can use sugar free)
1 tub (8 oz) cool whip; thawed
4 cups angel food cake or pound cake; cut into cubes
Recipe
Place gelatin in large bowl; add boiling water, stir 2 minutes or until completely dissolved. Stir in cold water and cherry pie filling. Refrigerate for approx. 1 hour or until slightly thickened.
Place cake cubes in a 3 qt. glass serving bowl. Spoon gelatin mixture over cake cubes. Refrigerate 45 minutes or until set but not firm.
Pour milk into a large bowl and add pudding mixes. Beat with wire whisk 2 minutes. Gently stir into two cups of the whipped topping. Spoon over gelatin mixture in bowl.
