Chicken Breast Strips with Mushrooms

5 tsp. butter or margarine
1 1/3 c. sliced mushrooms
1/4 tsp. thyme
1 tsp. lemon juice
4 tsp. veg. oil
1b. chicken strips
1 cup evaporated milk
1 can cream of mushroom soup
4 tsp. parsley
Recipe
Melt butter and saute mushrooms until golden. Add thyme and lemon juice, stir and set aside. Separately, heat oil and saute chicken, season with salt and pepper to taste; drain. Fold evaporated milk into the cream of mushroom soup and boil l minute over medium heat. Add mushroom mixture and chicken to mushroom soup mixture and stir. Sprinkle with parsley if desired to garnish.
