2 cups sifted all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
1/2 cup margarine
2 1/2 cups packed light brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
2 cups quick cooking rolled oats
2 cups puffed rice cereal
1/2 cup chopped walnutsRecipe
Preheat oven to 350°. sift flour, baking soda and salt. Cream margarine and brown sugar with electric mixer at medium speed in large bowl until fluffy. Beat in eggs, 1 at a time, until fluffy. Stir in vanilla.
Add flour mixture, 1/3 at a time, until well blended; stir in rolled oats, rice cereal and walnuts. Drop by teaspoonfuls, about 1 inch apart, onto large cookie sheets lightly sprayed with nonstick cooking spray. Bake 10 minutes or until cookies are firm and lightly golden. Remove to wire racks; cool.
