Sourdough Cinnamon Rolls

Sourdough Starter:
2 c. Flour
1 pkg. or 2 1/4 tsp yeast
2 c. water
Combine all ingredients and mix well. Place in a warm place or closed cupboard overnight. This is your starter. To replenish the starter, add 2 cups of milk or water and 2 cups flour. Mix well and let set. DO NOT use a metal bowl to keep it in.
Cinnamon Rolls
Dough:
1 c. milk
1 egg
3 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
2 tbsp.sugar
6 tbsp butter, softened
1 1/2 tsp yeast
4 tbsp. sourdough starter
Filling:
Butter, softened
Cinnamon
Brown Sugar
Pecans
Icing:
1 c. powdered sugar
2 to 3 tbsp milk
1 tsp vanilla
Recipe
Scald milk and dissolve yeast in it. Mix together all dry ingredients. Add milk and yeast, egg and butter and sourdough starter. Mix well. Let rise until doubled. Punch down and knead. Roll out dough.
For filling: Spread butter over dough. Cover with brown sugar. Sprinkle with cinnamon and pecans. Roll up dough and pinch edges together. Slice into 1 to 1 1/2 in pieces. Place in greased baking pan. Cover and let rise 30 minutes. Bake at 350* for 20 to 30 minutes until golden.
Mix icing ingredients. Drizzle over rolls.
