    Devonshire Cream for Scones

    Penelope's Mock Devonshire Cream
    1/2 cup sour cream
    1 cup heavy whipping cream

    Add one small drop of yellow food coloring to whipping cream before beating. Beat heavy whipping cream until very stiff. Gradually blend in sour cream. Serve with warm scones. Serves 10 to 12.
