This is a great pound cake and everywhere I take it I get requests for the recipe

List of Ingredients




2 sticks butter
3 cups sugar
6 eggs
3 cups cake flour
1/4 tsp baking soda
8 ozs sour cream
1 tsp vanilla

Recipe



Cream butter and sugar. add egg yolks one at a time. Sift flour and baking soda 3 times. Add flour mixture alternately with sour cream. Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites and vanilla. Bake in a greased and floured tube pan for 1 hour or until it test done at 350 degrees
