    Butterscotch Cream Cheese Bars

    List of Ingredients


    • 11 ounce package Butterscotch chips
    • 6 Tbs butter
    • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
    • 2 cups chopped walnuts
    • 2-8 oz packages cream cheese, softened
    • 1/2 cup sugar
    • 4 eggs
    • 1/4 cup flour
    • 2 Tbs lemon juice


    Instructions


    1. Preheat oven to 350 degress. Melt butterscotch chips and butter together in heavy duty saucepan, on lowest possible heat setting, stirring constantly until smooth. Stir in crumbs and walnuts.
    2. Reserve 2 cups crumb mixture for topping; press remaining mixture into ungreased 15 x 10 inch pan. Bake for 12 minutes and remove from oven.
    3. Beat cream cheese and sugar until creamy. Add eggs, one at a time, beatin well after each addition. Gradually beat in flour and lemon juice.
    4. Pour over crust, sprinkle with reserved mixture.
    5. Bake at 350 for 20 to 25 minutes, or until set. Remove from oven and cool completely before cutting into bars. Store in refrigerator.
