    Recipe Introduction

This is from an urban legend floating around the internet, about a lady that was charged $250.00 for a copy of the famous Neiman-Marcus chocolate chip cookie recipe, so she decided to spread the recipe to as many people as she could. I don't know how true the story is--but the cookies are delicious!

    List of Ingredients

    1 cup butter
    1 cup brown sugar
    1 cup sugar
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 cups flour
    1 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 1/2 cups oatmeal, powdered
    1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 (8 oz.) Hershey Bar (grated)
    12 oz. chocolate chips
1 1/2 cups chopped nuts (optional)

    Recipe

Measure oatmeal and blend in a blender to a fine powder.
Cream the butter and both sugars. Add eggs and vanilla,
mix together with flour, oatmeal, salt, baking powder, and soda. Add chocolate chips, Hershey Bar, and nuts. Roll into balls, and place two inches apart on a cookie sheet.

Bake for 10 minutes at 375 degrees
    Makes 5 dozen cookies.
