    No Roll Cabbage Rolls

    List of Ingredients


    • 3/4 cup regular rice
    • 1 head cabbage
    • 2 qts boiling water
    • 2 Tbsp vinegar
    • 1 Tbsp salt
    • 1 cup chopped onion
    • 3 Tbsp oleo
    • 3/4 tsp salt
    • 1 lb ground beef
    • 1 tsp seasoned salt
    • 1/4 tsp pepper
    • 1 cup spaghetti sauce
    • 1 cup water


    Instructions


    1. Cook rice with 1 1/2 cup water and 1/2 tsp salt for 20 minutes. Rinse with cold water and drain.
    2. Add chopped cabbage to 2 qts boiling water, 2 Tbsp vinegar, 1 Tbsp salt. Simmer 10 minutes. Drain.
    3. Saute onion in oleo.
    4. Mix onion, rice, ground beef, seasoned salt and pepper.
    5. Mix spaghetti sauce and 1 cup water.
    6. In a 9x13 baking dish, spread cabbage on bottom. Spread 1/2 spaghetti sauce over this, then meat mixture.
    7. Top with cabbage and remaining sauce. Cover. Bake at 325 for 1 hour 30 minutes.
