Special Baked Beans

List of Ingredients
- 2 cup navy beans
- 1/2 lb salt pork
- 6 sprigs parsley
- 1 large onion
- 1 green pepper
- 2 sweet red peppers
- 2 Tbsp maple syrup
- 6 Tbsp ketchup
Instructions
- Soak beans overnight in cold water. Drain and save liquid. Run through foodchopper.
- Scald and remove rind from salt pork. Cut into pieces.
- Mix all remaining ingredients into beans.
- Cover with fresh water and simmer 2 hours.
- Place into bean pot, add enough liquid to cover beans.
- Cover and bake at 300 for 2 1/2 hours. Remove cover and bake 1 1/2 hours longer.
