    This recipe was given to me by a girlfriend who got it from her mother. It has been in the family for many years. I have not had good luck making cheesecakes but this one comes out perfect.

    List of Ingredients




    1 1/4 c. graham cracker crumbs
    1/4 c. melted butter
    1 T. sugar
    5 (8-oz.) pkg. cream cheese
    1 3/4 c. sugar
    1/4 c. flour
    1 t. vanilla extract
    5 eggs
    2 egg yolks
    1/4 c. heavy cream
    1 c. sour cream
    1/4 c. sugar

    Recipe



    Combine crumbs, melted butter and 1 T. sugar in bowl. Press evenly over bottom of greased springform pan. Refrigerate. Beat cream cheese, sugar, flour and vanilla until smooth and fluffy. Beat in eggs and yolks, one at a time, beating well after each addition, until mixture is smooth. Stir in heavy cream. Pour into prepared pan. Bake in preheated oven at 475 degrees for 10 minutes. Decrease temperature to 250 degrees and bake 1 hour. Turn off oven. Leave cake in oven for 1 more hour. Open door to oven and leave cake in oven for 30 more minutes. Remove cake from oven. Cake may crack on top, this is normal. Mix together sour cream and sugar. Spread on top of cake and refrigerate overnight before serving.
