    Recipe Introduction


    My daughter, recently visited Tennessee for the first time. Her favorite beverage was sweet tea. When she came home, we found this recipe that most reminded her of the sweet tea she had in Tennessee


    List of Ingredients


    • 3 family size tea bags (Luzianne) if available
    • 2 cups cold water
    • 1 cup sugar
    • pinch of baking soda


    Instructions


    1. Place tea bags in cold water & bring to a boil. As soon as it starts to boil remove from heat.
    2. Add pinch of soda
    3. Place tight fitting lid on pot & steep for about 10 - 15 minutes.
    4. In a gallon container, place the sugar & enough hot water to dissolve the sugar,making a sugar syrup.
    5. After tea has steeped, pour into the sugar water and stir well
    6. Add water to make 1 gallon
