- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup mashed sweet potatoes
- 3 eggs
- 1/3 cup corn sirup
- 1/3 cup milk
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 cup broken pecans
- pastry dough [plain]
Instructions
- Cream butter and sugar. Add mashed potatoes and slightly beaten eggs. Mix well.
- Combine the sirup, milk, salt, vanilla, and pecans.
- Line pie pan with plain pastry.
- Turn mix into pan.
- Bake in hot oven [425F] for 10 minutes. Reduce heat and continue to bake in moderate oven [325F] for 35 to 45 minutes
- You can omit the peacans

First yes sirup is how they spelled it.
