List of Ingredients
- 2 pounds beef from shin, inch thick
- 2 diced onions
- 2 sliced carrots
- 1 diced turnip
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1 tablespoon flour
Instructions
- Wipe meat with cold clean damp cloth. Put in pan. Cover with boiling water and simmer for 3 hours on low heat.
- Add the other ingredients.
- Increase the heat and simmmer another hour.
- Remove the meat and the vegetables to a platter. Thicken the liquor with flour that was mixed to a smooth paste with cold water, stir and cook to desired consistancy. Serve with meat and vegetables
