- 1 LG ONION (CHOPPED)
- 3 RIBS CELERY
- 1/2 CUP FRESH PARSLEY (CHOPPED FINE)
- 1 TSP FRESH THYME
- 1-1/2 LBS GROUND CHUCK
- 1/2 LB GROUND PORK
- 1/2 LOAF STALE FRENCH BREAK
- 1 CUP WATER
- 2 EGGS
- 1/2 TSP EACH -BLACK PEPPER, SALT, ITALIAN SEASONING
- OLIVE OIL FOR COOKING
Instructions
- GENTLY MIX GROUND CHUCK WITH ONION, CELERY, ITALIAN SEASONING, PEPPER & SALT.
- BREAK FRENCH BREAK INTO SMALL CHUNKS, COVER WITH 1 CUP WATER. DRAIN FRENCH BREAD IN COLANDER, SQUEEZING OUT AS MUCH WATER AS POSSIBLE.
- ADD DAMP FRENCH BREAK AND EGGS TO THE MIX MIXTURE.
- CHILL MIXTURE FOR ONE HOUR.
