- 1/4 TSP PEPPER
- 2 CUPS HALF AND HALF CREAM
- 2 CUPS GRATED CHEDDAR CHEESE
Instructions
- COOK BACON OVER LOW HEAT - RESERVE 3 TABLESPOONS BACON DRIPPINGS
- SAUTE ONIONS AND CELERY IN DRIPPINGS UNDER TENDER
- ADD POTATOES, CHICKEN BROTH, SALT AND PEPPER. SIMMER UNTIL TENDER
- REMOVE FROM HEAT. PUREE HALF OF MIXTURE IN A BLENDER. RETURN PUREE TO RESERVED MIXTURE IN POT AND STIR IN HALF ANDHALF AND CRUMBLED BACON.
- ADD GRATED CHEESE AND CONTINUE TO COOK UNTIL CHEESE IS MELTED.
- GARNISH WITH TOPPINGS.
